British Mills Hand Grenade No36 with its genuine Lever And Stricker Rod

Lovely condition semi relic recovered in the Reichswald Forest part of the Siegfried Line, the Battle fought between 8th February to 11th March 1945 in Germany

This is a nice example of the very famous British mills bomb still with its original lever and stricker pin with spring but inner tube is missing

The stricker pin is siezed so doesnt release when the pin is pulled, some minor pitting, dated base plug 1943

The grenade has been professionally cleaned well and is now perfect for display or any collection

Not the easiest of finds from the Battlefield these days now

The grenade was recovered in the Reichswald Forest which was part of the Siegfried Line, this area was defended in the battle by the 6th Parachute Division with other troops, the battle that was fought between 8th February to the 11th March 1945 in Germany
